Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising (Video game) - Feel the military conflicts

Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising is a first person military conflict simulator game available for Sony Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. This game is also known as Operation Flashpoint 2 -- built on the original game's heritage. This game is designed to display the modern infantry combats realistically.

This game takes place on a small fictional island, Skira -- located at the north coast of Japan, which becomes a flashpoint between superpowers that threatens to engage into full-scale war. According to the game story, player as a member of the United States Marine Corps is tasked to capture the island on behalf of the Russians from the Chinese military.

During the gameplay, players get the freedom to handle military crisis situations on their initiative. In their mission, players have to lay down the covering fire, conduct short-range recon patrol and many more. The players can make use over 70 weapons in game, ranging from pistols and sub-machine guns to artillery and large bombs and all are supported by a realistic ballistics system, which simulates the effects of each weapon on buildings and vehicles.

This game features a co-operative mode, in which several players can play through the singleplayer campaign together where each human player will replace a computer-controlled character. The game environment is densely packed with objects, valleys, mountains, coastlines, villages and industrial complexes, which will all combine together to deliver a rich and challenging tactical experience for the players.
