Far Cry 2: The Game - Time to shoot

Far Cry 2 is the action-packed shooter game developed by Ubisoft Montreal. It is the sequel of Far Cry and has some few similarities when compared to the first title.

Far Cry 2 has the new style of gameplay that allows the player to explore different African landscapes such as deserts, jungles, and savannas. The player takes control of a mercenary who takes a long journey to locate and assassinate a well-known arms dealer, the Jackal. Players need to begin working for various warring factions that the Jackal has armed, so they can trace the supply line back to their target. The two primary organizations at the heart of all this bloodshed are the militaristic UFLL and the revolutionary APR. They'll spend the bulk of the story working for these two groups, getting to know their power structures, and taking on all of the violent tasks they throw our way.

In this gameplay, the freedom of choice that goes with selecting the mission that the players want to perform and the guide to execute those missions, is where the Far Cry 2 really shines. Each story mission can be played in multiple ways. There are 12 potential buddies randomly scattered throughout the storyline who can be a friend for players (nine of whom are available to choose as our silent protagonist), and they're often keen to tack on their own interests to the quests handed out by the UFLL and APR. This action packed gameplay is rich in shooting activities where the player has the access to a large arsenal of real world weapons, including assault rifles, sniper rifles, pistons, and light machine guns.

In an overall aspect, Far Cry 2 game packs realistic features such as weapon degradation and the dynamic weather system, thereby gaining impact in the gamer’s world.
