Tekken is a series of fighting game developed by Namco. It is one of the earliest 3D fighting game franchise.
Tekken 6 will be the latest release by Namco in this Tekken series. It will be first game in this series to be released in PS3 based System. Sources reveal that Tekken 6 will include the new stages and characters and it will be available in PS3 and Xbox 360.
It is revealed by the director of Tekken 6 that the game will retain all its elements from Tekken 5 and Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection which was appreciated by fans. In addition, the game adds a new "rage" system, which gives characters more power when their vitality is low. The character customization feature will also be more interesting with gameplay. Visually, it's certainly the best looking Tekken yet the backgrounds contain lots of small details and everything looks nice and sharp.
This game has 16 stages in-built with the handful of fights that take place on a destroyed freeway overpass, the roof of a rain-drenched skyscraper. The controls are felt instantly familiar to its previous versions. Limbs correspond to the face buttons and a combination of certain buttons result in powerful combat attacks. Graphics flourishes whenever we strike and make a return as well. With a new level of rounds, this game is packed with new faces with different powers and moves. There are two modes in this game that can be played co-operatively with two players, and also allows the players to pick up weapons such as poles and guns. Other features in the home versions include a toggle option for motion blur.
